Our occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists provide individualized treatment to improve a variety of feeding challenges.

Feeding therapy typically includes both the child and the family to develop a treatment plan to address each child’s unique feeding needs. Challenges addressed include both motor (oral and physical) and sensory based skills needed to effectively suck, swallow, chew and bite foods. Sessions often include developmentally appropriate play to improve tolerance for smelling, touching, and tasting a variety of foods.
